LIVE ON

I can only imagine what you are going through, so I will not ask how you feel,
Because I know the pain of losing that which you hold precious, I have lost once,
Trust me, the Universe has a way of replacing our lows with unimaginable highs,
You won’t see it coming, but when the time is right, everything will make perfect sense.

This is the moment you need all the strength and sense in you,
Because every decision and choice you make now, will impact on your forthcomings,
Think about two choices; be consumed by weakness; or gather your strength and live on,
When the time is right, everything will make perfect sense.

God has a reason for everything, and trust me, certain losses pave ways towards better gains,
You can never battle against forces you cannot control, you got to look beyond the closed door,
Focus the remaining energy in you into shaping your life, the people that love you need you,
When you let God’s serenity into you, everything will make perfect sense in His right time.

Hey, never forget how important you are, never forget the impact you have on others,
Have you ever counted the stars in a starry night, or counted the pieces of sand in the ocean?
That is the count of people who love and care for you out here, never forget how many we are,
Never feel alone; because you are not, you are precious and strong; the world needs you,
Do not let go of Hope; for when the time is right, everything will make Perfect sense.

AIN’T THE END…

Hey there,

I hope you are doing fine. I am fine as well, thanks to God, He has been merciful to me, and I’m grateful. I call to check on you and maybe deliver an uplifting message,. Are you going through some nerve jarring ordeal?

Well, I hope this finds you well and in good health.

I want you to picture these unimaginable scenarios that actually happen to a number of people in this so-called life journey. No offense, don’t ever think that I don’t feel the pain you are going through; I feel with you every bit of it. Now, have you ever imagined that there are people out there who go through situations worse than yours? There, certainly, are. If you think your case is painful and you cannot rise to journey anymore, then look at these particular scenarios:

You ain’t alone in that condition; neither are you the only one going through a disappointing situation.

Okay, imagine a salesperson that wakes up morning, walk around the streets with hopes of selling his products, only to end up not making a single sale. Awful, right? What about a shopkeeper who opens her shop every morning and waits for buyers to walk in, only to end up spending the whole day inside their shops all alone with no potential buyers. If you think that’s bad enough, then imagine studying your ass up all night, only for the school exam results to disappoint you in the long end. What about a woman who has been faithful and loyal in her marriage for years, only for her husband to end up marrying a second wife and abandon her?  Have you not heard of families plotting against blood kins? Think about it!

This life can be very unpredictable, presenting results one doesn’t plan or wish for. But what can we do? Nothing, it is life, after all. Maybe, you need to wake up with knowledge of bad days in mind, but hope for better results. This way, you will work hard towards achieving best results every day.

I hope this makes you understand the inevitability of this life, and gives you strength to rise up and move forward.

A BEND ON THE ROAD AIN’T THE END OF THE ROAD, UNLESS YOU FAIL TO MAKE A TURN.

TO THE BESTEST OF FRIENDS 😍😍

CLOSER THAN A BROTHER
I was on the verge of falling apart,
The walls were slowly tumbling down on me,
I didn’t know I needed saving until I met you,
The friend much closer than a brother.

The tides turned and you picked me from my fall,
You helped me get back to my feet and wipe off the dust,
And with that single brush, a bond was created,
And I got myself a friend much closer than a brother.

Every day with you since the day we met has been an adventure,
You held my hands when we came at crossroads,
You made me laugh when all I wanted to do was drown in my sorrows,
The friend much closer than a brother.

You’ve shown me what it means to live a little,
You’ve helped me see the world through your eyes,
You’ve been my hero when I needed one,
The friend closer than a brother.

We met by chance, and stuck together like matching outfits,
I have no place in my world that doesn’t have you in it,
It’s almost as if I’ve known you my entire life,
The friend much closer than a brother.

DEAR BEST FRIEND
Precious stones are not easy to mine,
They are rare in quantity, but filled with quality,
When you finally find it, you treasure as if your life hungs on it,
Because among many who seek it, you are blest to find it.

Best friendship is the most precious of jewels,
If he betrays you, he was never your friend,
Love and friendship never lie, they never betray,
They are the purest gifts that actualize life,
I am blest to have a best friend.

That one selfless person, who gives and never asks it back,
I confide in, my secrets are safe with him, what a friend,
He is restless when I am down,
He lowers himself and we rise together,
I am blest to have a best friend.

Who is not afraid, to wear my shoe and help me feel every pain,
Who is not afraid, to condemn me when I’m wrong,
He is not afraid, to pull me from astray and bad company,
He is a one in a million, and,
I am blest to have a best friend.

When it’s cold and lonely, he is the warm company,
When I am desperate and broken, he offers a strong encouragement,
When I am lost in dark night, he helps me find the dawn dawn,
I can only thank God for him, because,
I am blest to have a best friend.

MY BEST FRIEND
When grief teared me apart,
I got numb, and I couldn’t listen to my heart,
When tears rolled down my face,
And sorrow slacked my pace,
You were there with me.

When all my light was extinguished,
And I had to take that lonely walk in dark,
When i was alone and needed that little talk,
And there was no one in the vicinity,
You showed up and gave me a shoulder to lean on.

You held my hand and gave me comfort,
From my griefs you pulled a smile,
And all my struggles you took as your own,
I found a ray of hope in you bestie.

You’re the stallion that lights the paths of my vision,
The prize that gives me purpose,
Fighting for you is my sole mission,
And victory is what I’ll dispose.

Why is my best friend my priority?
“Because almost everyone left me
When i thought i had them for life,
Only my best friend has stayed loyal, constant.”

Silver and gold are so valuable
But they don’t match your worth bestie.

#Making a million friends is not a miracle, the miracle is making a friend who will stand by you when millions are against you.

JUST NOT MY BRAIN

Trickery, Treachery, and Betrayal; the worst one can get from trust. At certain points in life we get to let go certain bonds when we realize we can hold on no longer. What happened to DIY? Why do we only realize our potential when we are hit by blows we can’t defend? You know what, you can only get that stressed when your heart is crushed by someone you TRUST.

But then strong people don’t need other people to mend their broken hearts. You only need the one person you can trust-You. You see, when they took your work and made it theirs, they thought they’d finish you. But they just didn’t take your brain.

And once you realize that you still have your brains in you and you have your full confidence and trust, you get to find out that your heart never stopped pumping blood, and your magic still blossoms in you fresh like new.

You then pick up the pieces and mend them all together to do their purpose.

They can take all your creations, but they won’t take your brains😊.

That was enough for the start. Watch out, these fingers are magical. ✨

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus your own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
